At the invitation of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mr. Hakan Fidan, Iraqi Turkmen participated in the third Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The President of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Mr. Hasan Turan, attended the forum, held under the theme ‘Highlighting Diplomacy in Crisis Prevention,’ sponsored by the President of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and attended by heads of state and ministers from over 100 countries from March 1st to 3rd. Mr. Qutluhan Yayjli, the representative of the Iraqi Turkmen Front in Turkey, accompanied Mr. Turan.
During the forum, Mr. Turan met with Dr. Birol Akgun, the President of the Turkish Education Foundation, and also held meetings with the Iraqi Foreign Minister, Mr. Fuad Hussein. Additionally, Mr. Turan met with the President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and several other politicians present at the conference.
