Statement:The Iraqi Turkmen Front condemns the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the guesthouse of the Bayat tribe in the Kifri district through a drone attack.

The Iraqi Turkmen Front condemns the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the guesthouse of the Bayat tribe in the Kifri district through a drone attack, resulting in the martyrdom of Sheikh “Hussein Aloush,” the leader of the Bayat tribe, who is considered one of the prominent figures and social personalities in the city of Kifri.

The Iraqi Turkmen Front strongly condemns this terrorist act, and if this terrorist security breach indicates anything, it indicates a direct targeting of the Turkmen component and is a serious indicator aimed at disrupting the security situation, stability, and fraternal coexistence among the components of Kifri, especially with the approaching date of the parliamentary elections in the region.

The Iraqi Turkmen Front calls on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Prime Minister of the State, and the Kurdistan Regional Government to take immediate and urgent measures to impose security in the Kifri district, eliminate terrorist organizations, protect the lives of innocent civilians, conduct an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances of the terrorist incident and the party behind it, and bring the perpetrators to justice to receive their fair punishment.

The Iraqi Turkmen Front affirms that it will continue its national struggle to defend the Turkmen people in Iraq, and that the Turkmen people will become more determined and cohesive in their identity and just cause.

We extend our sincere condolences to the Bayat tribe and the sons of our Turkmen people in the city of Kifri and to the family of the martyr, asking the Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the martyr of the Turkmen cause “Hussein Aloush,” and may He grant him the highest ranks of paradise and grant his family patience and solace.

To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.
