During an evening event in Ramadan, Mr. Turan reiterated his call for the rehabilitation and preservation of Turkmen historical landmarks in Iraq through the implementation of projects aimed at reviving the tangible heritage of Turkmen monuments in Iraq.
The Turkish delegation, which visited Kirkuk on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, inaugurated a music classroom at Qardashliq School in the presence of the Director-General of Education in Kirkuk and educational figures. Additionally, the delegation provided humanitarian aid to several families, visited Turkmen Eli TV station, and conducted an inspection visit to Kirkuk Castle and Kirkuk’s Caesar Palace to assess their needs for the purpose of contributing to the preservation of their historical heritage.
Mr. Hasan Turan, the President of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, received the visiting delegation at the headquarters of the Iraqi Turkmen Front. During the meeting, they reviewed files of mutual interest and affirmed the continuation of projects and programs contributing to the preservation of the tangible and historical heritage of archaeological sites in Iraq.
